I don't usually spend that much on e-books since you aren't receiving a printed version so I never understood how they could cost so much but I read the first one for free on prime and I was hooked. I had to continue the series so I bought they entire set since it saved me a few dollars, only to realize there is still 2 more that aren't a part of this set.... a little disappointed at this.The story in general is great though. My best friend and I are both reading it and we say it is a mixture of "The Bachelor" and "Hunger Games"! Interesting perspective of the world 300 years from now!

Very interesting books, I couldn't stop reading. Would recommended . Love that I've never read a book like this series.
Great Romantic Love Story with a lot of adventurous and surprising twists. Not trashy .. Kept my interest.. read the 4 book series in 2 weeks. ( and I'm not a fast reader) I would equate it to the Bachelor TV series , but also Hallmark love stories shown at Christmas. It was a great vacation read.
I loved all of thy the books, but at the end of the heir I was seriously bawling!!! I didn't expect it at all! Now I need to go download the next book. I need to know what happens!!!
You really love the characters in the first 3 books they are wonderful, and the story is thrilling. It has ups and downs. The fourth book when they switch to the daughter it feels as if the author hates the character. It’s hard to like her much less love her. You feel for her, and her situation, but you don’t rally behind the character. You simply tolerate her hoping for the best.
I came across this series from the trailer for the next installment and quickly decided to purchase. I'm so glad I did; 4 days later and all 4 books have been devoured.
I like that the leading characters are typical. I like the flaws and mistakes and the people who love them all the more for them.
I'm looking forward to reading the novellas.
I read The Selection via and was intrigued so I ended up to buy the whole set. It was a very addicting series but by The Crown it got kind of slow and not as exciting. I want to continue on the series but hesitatant to buy individual books just to finish the series. When I started The Selection, I didn't realize it is a series of books before the ending.
I am a huge fan of YA fiction & I really enjoyed the 1st three books of the series and the love story. The strong female character was intriguing, and I really enjoyed her growth. Then in book 4, she lost all of her spirit & became the smiling quiet & serene queen wifey. Yuck. It's was then up to her daughter to take the reigns & be the independent, strong minded woman, but I just couldn't like her or care about her. Book 4 was kind of a bummer end to what started out as an interesting series.
